January 5-9, Mon.-Fri.	Orientation, advising, and registration for all students based on student population and classification
January 12, Monday	Classes begin, 8:00 a.m.
January 12, Monday	Financial aid satisfactory academic progress appeals deadline
January 12-16, Mon.-Fri.	Late registration and schedule adjustment
January 16, Friday	Hours locked for financial aid purposes.
January 15, Thursday	Financial aid priority filing period ends for 2026-27 academic year.
January 16, Friday	Drop/Add period ends; last day to change course(s) or course section(s) for the Standard Term.
January 16, Friday	Last day to withdraw from a course for tuition and fees refund; course withdrawal policy in effect after this date.
January 19, Monday	Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. holiday. Classes dismissed; offices closed.
January 20, Tuesday	Deadline for graduate students to apply to graduate in May
January 26, Monday	Census reporting; no additional schedule adjustment for the Standard Term.
February 2, Monday	Summer session registration begins for continuing students.
February 15, Sunday	Deadline for undergraduates to apply to student teach during Spring 2027
February 20, Friday	Mid-term grades due; grading window opens February 9.
March 6, Friday	Last day to withdraw from a course without incurring a WF grade (withdraw failing)
March 7, Saturday	Instruction ends for Spring Break, 1:00 p.m.
To Be Announced	Deadline for undergraduates to apply to graduate in May
March 16, Monday	Classes resume after Spring Break, 8:00 a.m.
March 16-Apr. 29, Mon.-Wed.	Fall semester advising for continuing students, by appointment

Days of the Week Meeting Distribution for Spring
The one-day shortage of Fridays in the spring is made up with the one-day overage of Wednesdays. If a class meets only on Friday (three-hour class), then it is the instructor’s responsibility to make up the 150 minute deficit via an online or other instructional method outside of the classroom.
