Policy Addendum for 2021 Academic Year To best accommodate students during the transition of UNCG’s general education program, undergraduate students who declare or change their academic program can elect to remain on their existing catalog year and general education program, or they may change to the current catalog year relevant to the effective term and switch to the MAC program. For more information on the Student Catalog Year Policy, please see: https://go.uncg.edu/catalogyear It is important to note that under this revised policy: Students must complete the program requirements and general education program for the catalog year they are in. Students who are moving to a program that was not established in their existing catalog year must move to the current catalog year. Students being readmitted to UNCG must move to the current catalog This addendum applies to the 2021-2022 academic year only and expires on August 1, 2022 unless otherwise extended. As the University transitions to the new MAC general education program, changing a current student’s catalog year can have an especially significant impact on their academic requirements and graduation timeline.
