January 10–17First week of classes – no general purpose classroom reservations available.
January 18-April 28 Booking for this period begins on January 18th, at which time general purpose classrooms may be reserved via EMS (https://euc.uncg.edu/reservations/)
April 28Reading Day: general purpose classrooms may be reserved for this day at any time during the calendar year.
April 29-May 5Final Exams: no general purpose classroom reservations available.
May 6-8Spring 2022 semester complete: general purpose classrooms may be reserved via EMS (https://euc.uncg.edu/reservations/)
May 9-August 15Booking for this time period begins on January 18th, at which time general purpose classrooms may be reserved via EMS (https://euc.uncg.edu/reservations/)

Academic course sections have first priority for use of General Purpose Classrooms. Non-academic (e.g., meetings) event scheduling for those rooms is deferred until after the first week of class in order to allow for final changes to the course schedule.

FALL 2022

THE BOOKING PROCESS

The University Reservations Office in the Elliott University Center will manage reservations in academic buildings for non-course sections (seminars, break-out rooms, orientations, meetings, etc.).

The University Registrar’s Office will continue to manage space assignments for academic course sections with CRNs (Course Reference Number) and exams.

Academic course sections have first priority for use of General Purpose Classrooms. Non-academic (e.g., meetings) event scheduling for those rooms is deferred until after the first week of class in order to allow for final changes to the course schedule.

How to make a reservation with the University Reservations Office

  • Create an account in the VEMS system (reservations.uncg.edu).
  • Wait for an email saying your account is active.
  • Use the VEMS system to reserve your space.
    OR
  • Visit EUC 221 to complete a reservations form.
